Beautification Planned for Piedras St.

Here are a few notes from this month’s membership meeting:

This summer, watch for the improvements coming to Piedras St.’s parking and sidewalks. At the May 18, 2022 Five Points Development Association membership meeting, Alex Hoffman, the Assistant Director for CID (Capital Improvement Department) Planning updated us on city plans to increase safety for pedestrians and beautify Piedras Street with trees and lighting.

More design elements can be found at the elev8ep.com website created by the Capital Improvement Department to showcase plans. The website provides information you can use to contact the department to ask questions and provide input.

Guest Speaker Alex Hoffman, Assistant Director for El Paso’s Capital Improvement Department presented city plans for Five Points at our May 2022 membership meeting. Association members enjoyed the opportunity to ask questions and voice concerns.
